FISH STEW AT OTTSJÖN

The autumn break in Åre continues. Today, we hiked the Norra Ridvadsrundan (Trail 262) to Ottsjön. It's a shorter trail that's perfect for this time of year. The path had plenty of boardwalks and was dry and in great condition.

For lunch, we brought the leftovers of the fish stew we made for dinner last night. It turned out to be a spectacular meal, accompanied by breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

The day started off quite cloudy, but as the hours passed, the sky cleared, and the sun peeked through. At Ridvadet, it’s possible to wade right across the lake. It's a stretch of a couple of hundred meters, marked with white indicators on both sides. The water was a bit too cold for wading today, but we definitely have to try it this summer!
