FAMILY HIKE TO RENFJÄLLET
Today, we decided to head up to Renfjället once again. Vera and I had been there a couple of weeks earlier, but now it was time for Molly and the dogs to experience the beautiful mountain as well.
We started our hike from the parking lot in Edsåsdalen, and after a short while, we reached Vita Renen. Naturally, we had to stop for some waffles!
Then, we headed upwards once again. There were quite a few people out today, so we kept the dogs on their leashes. But once we were above the treeline, we let them off the leash—and they took off like rockets! At the top, we found some beautiful small lakes, and Storm wasted no time jumping in, being the water-loving dog he is.
Unfortunately, our hike came to an abrupt end just before reaching the summit. One of the larger dogs collided with little Bosse, causing a fracture in his back leg :( Over the next few days, Molly made several trips back and forth to a veterinary clinic in Östersund. The first two times, the cast came off, but eventually, they managed to get it on properly. Poor Bosse!
